A reimagination of the current learning management system of the University of Georgia. This is the final project of EDIT 6190 which tried to use prototyping tools to create or redesign things related to digital learning. The aim of this project focused on accessibility, ease of use, and better multi-function integration for students, teachers, and school administrators. By taking this course, I developed a profound understanding of different ways of incorporating learning technologies into different aspects of digital earning and teaching.
A retrospective of my first semester of doctoral study at UGA. In this project, I was asked to answer questions related to my research interest, learning theories and scholars, and my potential research design. This three-round reflection helped me to shape my research interest and adapt myself to the new academic journey, as well as allowing me to understand my position and foundation of instructional design.
A newly learned mixed-method approach that could be incorporated into my future research and/or dissertation. I am particularly enthralled by the comprehensive examination of the concourse (a collection of statements) with participants’ alignment, which could be important for research topics with complex contextual information and subjectivities.
A major part of the QUAL 8400 course is to conduct an interview based on my personal research interest. At the same time, I want to use this opportunity to review and improve my interview skills for future studies and assignments related to qualitative data collection and interpretation.
Association for Education Communications, and Technology (AECT) is one of the most important conferences for the learning technology and instructional design field, and having a presentation on AECT will be one of the most important ways to express my research ideas and interests to other similar-minded talented researchers and scholars across the U.S. For AECT 2024, I submitted a proposal with my advisor Dr. Janette Hill to continue our exploration of the current landscape of online learning for graduate students.
